I support the BBC.

Really, I do. Try watching something like Fox News some time, you'll see just how much worse things could be. This clip, for instance.

(If any of the small American contingent reading this could reassure me that Fox isn't always that bad, I'd be really grateful....)

Well, it was called "My Word". There's less of an emphasis on objective comment in the US than there is here. But their "proper" news reporting sucks too.

Yes, Fox news is always like that. But only people who would already think that stuff watch Fox News anyway, kind of like The Sun or The Mirror (or Daily Mail) readers in the UK. People who want to be informed about current affairs (rather than just entertained for half an hour), and especially world affairs get their news from the public television and radio stations.
